Re DEFRA E-MAIL Nicola Clarke [email protected] and just state you represent X or even as an individual and having read the consultation document wish to be considered a stakeholder I also gave them a postal address. If EVERYBODY DID THIS IN THE NEXT WEEK DEFRA would know the North East is very interested and may be come and speak to us.
.
ok lads i intend to speak to all the angling clubs from the tyne upto alnwick to ask there members to attend a meeting hopefully at the bankhouse this being central and large enough to accomadate quite afew anglers .
the aim is to advise the anglers what defra has intended to do with regards to a shore angling licence.what i need to no is how many on this site would be willing to attend ( date to be arranged )probs fri or sat night.
hopefully i can get someone from defra to attend along with others from the national and northern fed.hopefully davem will also attend and give an indepth speech.any tackle dealers that would also attend would also be great.
if anyone has any other ideas then please feel free to put a post up.
also if any one has the time to contact clubs from the south of the tyne that would be great.i will speak to alan stewart at the bankhouse to see what date is available, hopefully around the 1st or 2nd of feb.if anyone has the contact details for defra could they post them so i can contact them regarding the meeting unless some else could arrange this.i will ask the mps in the areas to attend along with local papers with the angling correspondents.
( alan is that ok for you to attend.)
