I know it's still October and the new boat season is a long way away, but to give us something to look forward to we have already done some booking.
After 3 trips this year to Crimden Dene it's time for a change in 2013 and in April we are going back to Church Point Caravan Park, Newbiggin and have booked a trip on the new Warlord Catamaran with No 1 crewman Duncan! Doubtless we will also go out on our usual boats from South Shields and Hartlepool though, I mean let's not go too crazy
Then in the summer we have decided to make an all out assault on the Whitby Summer Angling Festival Competition. Well when I say we, what I mean of course is Lynn will be going all out for the ladies' prize, I will be looking on with a sense of jealousy, as she makes a fool of me for about the hundredth time!
So we are staying at the Caravan Park in Filey for the first 12 days in July and have booked charters out on Mistress, Charisma and Trot-On ll (also a new catamaran), so three chances at the prizes! :red:
Anyone fancy joining us on any of our Whitby trips, drop me a PM as there are places available, but will probably fill up in the next few weeks as the competition is very popular. Don't get me wrong, we haven't booked the whole boat or anything, just our places, but only Mistress has anyone else booked so far.
Nothing like planning ahead, just don't know what to do for the next 6 months to keep our minds off the fishing!!
