anyone see it last night?? Best I\'ve ever seen it down here, very very green and very very red with lots of swooshy white bits (scientific description). Not as good as year before last in scotland when it was mental for the whole week, but brill anyway.
 
hardly! I was driving home when I first spotted it, about 7pm last night. was there again tonight but got buried behind the clouds
 
only joking lol ,not much chance of spotting it from my end too many city lights ,ill keep an eye out when im out and about though what hemespheres it kicking around in ?N S E W
 
from newcastle is sort of area, I\'d say western to north western skies, gonna see If I can find the pics we took in scotland year before last
 
these were taken in october 2003 in scotland. There had been a big solar storm apparently, resulting in the best show for decades - according to the telly when we were there anyway. left some of the pics big rather than sample them down

my eyes looked like the top photo(red one not the green one ;) ) when i got up today, and this was also to do with the Northern Hemisphere- My Vodka was Distilled in a Russian village :P
