Hi everyone, I am currently writing a report for work on recreational sea angling in North Tyneside/Northumberland and am looking for membership numbers of clubs in the area. If you are a club member that is based in or just fishes in this area then please pm me with your club name and membership details. It doesn't matter how big or small or active the club is, I'm just trying to paint an accurate picture.

Any information I receive would be much appreciated and of course used only in a professional manner.

Many thanks

Michael.

Can you tell us what your "work" is, and why it has an interest in rsa ?

as tony asks michael you are going to have to put your cards on the table before you get much response to this,i would have thought.

sadly in this day and age most questions of this nature are treated with the greatest of suspicion:(

good luck anyhoo the noo:)

Yup same as the above, why would anyone share this intonation without being provided with any detail of how the information will be used or why you are collecting it ? I would have thought anyone who was going to use this information in a 'Professional' manor would have put a lot more effort into this post.

Haha yeah, seems a bit "fishy" to me ;)

in the past any body who joins the site for this type of info uses their own name and explains why they need the info. sounds fishy to me.

Michael, like many have said, what do you need the information for, exactly? It's understandable that people are a bit suspicious. Give us more details and I'm sure people would be more forthcoming.
Cheers, Ross

Right.....

I've spoken to Les (loopy, our RSA rep), and although the thread starter is genuine, he shouldn't have been asking questions on an open forum using a pseudonym.
He has been suitably chastised, and may well pop up in the near future with an apology.

When the questions are asked, it will be done in a proper manner, and please be assured the survey is for the good of all RSA's.

this must be the guy that contacted me after I spoke to Les, who is working hard on behalf of RSA's at quite a high level, a while back, I suggested he should put a message on here but thought he would of been open about it, his message did set alarm bells ringing, as it is and Tony has said the guy is genuine, entirely up to you lot though if you give information
