Touche Pete......at £10 a book that's a print run of 40,000, costing approx £160,000 which, presuming we sell them all, will still leave us needing £160,000 so increase the print run to 70,000 leaving a decorating balance of £20,000. Seems OK to me.....will have a word down Barclays, ask if I can borrow about 2 seconds of their profit. Looks like it's back to the chalk front.
Seriously though the details of the sale say the turnover for a year is £35,000 gross so how you can afford to buy the house and run it and make as living is beyond me, or beyond my teaching salary, even with a retirement package. I suspect it'll be bought up as another holiday home. Sad for the village though.
