Further to BillQuay's request, this photo was given to Rod by a chap in his '80s. Looking at the gear I would guess it's late '50s or early '60's (the reel of the guy with the codling in the middle of the photo looks the most modern) but I have no idea who they are or where it was taken.

Brilliant, look at the gear, stiff solid rods and scabro reels and they still had decent fish.
