Aye mate was won by a local lad 13lb bag 4 fish biggest was 9lb ,he was 100 yards from us at Lynemouth ,second a single cod of 12 lb and third a 9lb bag of flatties.

Just got back from Amble Open lads, fished Warkworth Beach for flatties although very poor, me and me mate had 7 although only 4 were size. My mate had the heaviest flat 1lb 10oz - £150 not bad and we both got a prize from the table which was good. The heaviest fish came from Boulmer Haven 11lb 6oz although i can\'t remember the lads name, Willy Emery fished at Bog Hall rocks apparently for his winning heaviest bag. Another mate of mine fished at Seahouses and got two red codling for 4lb 10oz. There were quite alot fishing at Warkworth but the fishing was very poor compared to last year, lots of single fish and most of them undersizE.

Alan ,Willie Emery was just next to me at Lynemouth ,unless he started at Bog Hall that is ,have you met him before ,he never smiles even when winning the Amble open lol.

Jordy I got one rockling, we fished a couple of spots and used all kinds of different bait ,we even had a local bloke giving us loads of info ,still never mind eh there\'s always Saturday oh my father in law got a rockling as well lol.
