cracking fish well done that guy,im just wondering what happened to the fish ? as after all night with the guts in it would be a bit ripe ,good digi scales are only 25 quid and you can gut it on the night and know the size no question

leaving a fish over night with the guts in does it no harm, as long as you keep it cold. Fish with guts in make a better photo.

good idea that mate, sometimes I have photographed fish that have been gutted and they don't look the size they should be, might try it, what about ballooons, that might work as well.
