Abu Mag c3 mags help.

Hey guys I bought a used abu mag c3 off ebay. The sticker that tells you what setting the mags are isnt there. I was just wondering which way is it on the slidey for the mags to be fully on? is it downwards for full mags and upwards for off? Any help is appreciated.

Mines original had since came out but be same on any newer models l guess, reel position on rod in casting position handle right hand side as you look down the rod.Full on mags is back toward you,full off is push slide away from you.
Docile reels best set up l find is one very small break block, thin oil in the two spool inboard bearings, drop of TG yellow rocket oil,and will cast pretty safely with low mag setting or in following wind backed right off,away from you.Handy when winds in your face as you can turn mags up,slide toward you,to slow it down to suit you and the conditions.

If it's a slidy on the left its up for mags on down for off

Spin the spool. It will spin longer with the mags off.

I've a few 6500's n their all the same
Push slider away from you for off and slide towards you for on

cheers guys i've used the reel twice and I am supprised I've only had one birdie i've been using it with the mgas on nearly off instead of full lol. Cheers for the help.
