I've been having a bit of a spring-clearout of gear that is surplus to requirements, and have the following for sale (no swaps thanks).
A brand new & unused (still has the plastic wrap on the butt) Greys G-series CT boat rod, 20-30lb, with bag - £30. - SOLD
Second, a Greys Triplex - 14ft 3-5oz model. It's only been used a couple of times and is in shop condition, absolutely mint. Perfect rod for the summer flounders & plaice, long range fishing with a great sensitive tip, with bag - £100. SOLD
Third, a Sonik SK4 14ft, 5-7oz model. In very good used condition - a few marks as you'd expect from regular use (from the tripiod etc) but nothing major, and all rings intact (some bear a bit of rubbing to the paintwork, again nothing major, none bent or broken!). With bag - £100.
Also up for sale, a Shimano Torium 14 - excellent condition, it's had probably a dozen or so outings since new ( a few tiny marks here & there). This reel has been fitted with dry-running ceramic bearings, and comes with box & all bits (as well as the original bearings). It's loaded with Stren Blood-red & leader. Also comes with an Imax neoprene reel pouch - £80. SOLD
Abu 6500 C3CT Mag High-speed, made in Sweden. Hardly used since new & in immaculate condition, comes with box & all bits etc. & an Imax neoprene reel pouch. It's currently loaded with 0.30mm 15lb Trilene XL plus 60lb leader - £60. SOLD
Finally, an Abu 6500CS Mag Elite, green (also Swedish made) - bought for a bit of surf fishing with the level-wind, but never used so in mint, shop condition. I also have a Drilled Comfort Power Handle for this reel, in case this is preferred over the paddle-handle that comes as standard. Would also be ideal on a light rod on the kayak/boat, or a popular choice for conversion to a casting reel I believe. Loaded with 15lb Trilene XL line and a 45lb tapered leader, also comes with box & all bits and an Imax neoprene pouch - £40. SOLD
