1st time this year on Ellen lee boat

Got a phone call this morning off my mate Brian miller at 8.10 this morning did I fancy a boat session 9 till when ever weather permitting
Had a quick sarnie and he picked me up I had ginger pop , ginger nut biscuits and lansaprosole he had all the fishing gear
Got on his boat out of Roker mariner at 10ish

Got to a mark near Seaham way but a few mile out 1st drop and a cod about 2 1/2 lb
Been fishing about an hour when it hit me ... Sea sickness lol sick everywhere in the sea
On and off for a few hours wot a nightmare lol
Brian got a few nice wrasse which I didn't expect

Then I was back to full fitness dragging out my pb wrasse and pb pollack

The fishing was abit slow but plenty of smaller fish chucked back had to follow another boat back to shore as it's engine was cutting out then back out
Went to a few inshore wrecks and got a few more fish
Sickness had gone , weather was lovely and back home with 6 keepers mainly pollack biggest about 3 1/2lb great day and quality crack

Caught the only disabled cod in the sea lol

Cod , pollack , coalies ,wrasse and pouting with no makki to be seen
Ps sorry Brian for the snapped rod lol I will get u a new one and cheers for a great day out

Great session mate. Lovely wrasse Mick, bet you knew I'd say that lol. I'd have been sick all the time if it was me, that's why I don't go on boats, well done on braving it and getting fishing again. You missed the plaice on ssp today but worth missing them for a couple of pbs!
 
is it not the heart aching rrrr,lol.joking aside,alls well that ends well.rumour has it,it was a huge double figured cod that snapped brians rod?.welldone also on your pbs.
 
big well done on your catch I used to fish hendon rock many moons ago and get some nice pollack and wrasse
