Day fower

Yesterday is now merely a distant memory and after pumping out the kitchen and polishing the lemons we slipped majestically out of Peterhead. Before leaving we decided to take on more fuel and needed to talk to the harbour master. The tooltime tim was in his little oily hole and marc was scraping black bile from the deck when that funny phone thing came on in the cabin. Ladder boy stepped up to the plate and did all the over and out stuff - dead proud. I was later informed that holding a VHF radio mic up to one's ear makes you look a bit stoopid. Bbl with the steering story! Nearly ended up deep in the foo foo and we're running for home now with the cabin doors wide open hanging onto ropes. Just off montrose now! Smoke us a kipper we'll be home for breakfast (maybe a late supper)

Ladder boy out

good to here all is well, and as ever you hav'nt lost your sense of humour, best of luck for the final voyage home, will pop up to st peters in the morning, once yous get an idea of what time you will be getting into the tyne get Marc to text me and i will come up to st peters

well, based on the what can go wrong go wrong will go wrong its time I had a lie down

Currently staring at the radar in thick fog looking for the bell rock lighthouse, worryingly bovril thought it was a crap fishfinder cos we've seen nowt. Based on the above law, currently steering using the bit of thick string out of each door of the wheelhouse technique, so its getting a tad chilly. Impressively, the last 100 miles has been navigated by paper charts and dead reckoning, also based on the above law we'll soon be crossing a naval firing range so that will be interesting

In the cold light of day we learnt from Peterhead harbourmaster this morning that we crossed Rattray head in an f8+ sea state rough to very rough..... He was quite keen to point it was the worst sea up there since January, his dog was nice and freindly...... Did we mention that the hydraulic pump went at some point during that passage, had too much on my mind at the time to pay much attention to such matters though (re: black/sea phlegm)

Despite a few minor hiccups its been a ****ing nightmare on thecwuole though, which is nice

Despite everything we love our pansy particularly after her little demonstration in yesterdays sea

Best of all I haven't had to descend in to Dante's little nest once today. Although I did leave my casey jones hat on whilst giving the coastguard our position..... They were very nice about it though despite my numbers plotting our position in arrivals lounge at Aberdeen airport

I really do need to lie down now

Pleased you's are nearly home lads, been interesting reading so far :):o
