Calm Weather = Quiet Board

Hello chaps. Been too lazy to log in since the new board but have finally got round to it !!!. Autumn has been pretty slow to kick in, desperate for a bit of a blow to stir the sea up. Forecasters reckon we may get a bit of a Northerly tomorrow, looks like it may be for 1 day only. Will be trying out the Lower Tyne Estuary if the sea comes away.

Out last night on the lower Tyne estuary (North). Nice sea running outside the piers, but flat in the river. Fished the end for a couple of hours saw one size whiting caught. As the tide came in moved to the back wall. Had an undersized coalie before the spray started coming over & it was time to leave.
Was expecting a bit more action (as usual!) with the dredger working in the river.

Been down Blyth and Seaton Sluice today and a bit of lift on there as well. Didn't look too bad.
