Don't normally get to fish during the week but had a free night so went to a local rock mark at Whitburn, got their just after 6 till abt half 11. Their was a nice little bit sea running that seemed to die away as it was gan out. First chuck had a little codling bang on 35cm what was hooked deep but still managed to get it back alive. Then second cast had a big slack liner what resulted in a cracking codlin at 5lb4oz. Cheers to the lads who were down from me who helped me get it on dry land. Went quiet after that lost one fish on the retrieve until just after low tide when my last cast resulted in another codlin at 36cm but again a bit small so put that back. Baits used were blacks, crab, rag nd squid, the 5lber took blacks and rag the other two were on the crab.
