I\'m planning on giving Eyemoth, St Abbs etc a try out this weekend. If I can\'t get hold of any peeler what other baits should I be using up there? Cheers
There seems to be a few wrasse up there so rag would be good. Going for the cod, lug and muscle should do. As with everywhere though it\'s best to take up as big a selection as you can as you never know what\'s going to work on the day.
frazers have frozen peeler in davy as does game fishing supplies,tides are good towards the weekend so some of the tackle shops may even have a few fresh in but worth ringing round to find out and pre order before hand if possible try and get some fresh muscle to go with it if possible ..conditions aren\'t lookkin to favourable for up there this weekend though with the prospect of gail force northerlies!!! it fishes best up there when flat calm check the weather and web cams in sea state prior to heading up!!! if its lumpy save your bait and petrol and try somewhere local.
