  • RETURN OF \"THE OLD STUFF\"

Hands up all those who remember what has often been referred to as \"the old stuff\" on NESA.
I know, now that we have just gone over the 500 members mark, that there\'ll be a lot of you who won\'t have a clue what I\'m talking about....lol.

Well....the good news for ALL of us (old members and newer ones) is that they\'re back !!.......well, some of them, anyway and work is continuing on the resurrection of others, too.

    The pages which have been brought back to life, so far are;

The Alan Charlton Page: the original one - with loads of pearls of wisdom from Alan

Baits: The most popular baits used in N.E. fishing

Maps: many of the N.E. fishing marks

Rigs: How to tie (and when to use) the most popular ones.

For now, you can access these pages through the following link......happy reading

Good to have it back. Whilst things are being added and sorted out is there any chance of the seaech being linked to the forum, so we can search the forum?

            Cheers.

              ??
Mike, I\'ve never had a problem with using the \"search\" facility.

I often use it to find posts / topics which I need to refer back to.

Having not used it for a while, I\'ve just tried it to see if there was a problem.......worked fine.

I typed the word \"groyne\" and set it to search the Shore Fishing forum \"from the beginning\".......a long list of all mentions of the \"groyne\" appeared.

Couldn\'t figure out what you were talking about Tony, and then noticed the small search button at the top of the page.

That does work fine - thanks for pointing it out!

Unfortunately the larger search button on the side menu (the one I had been trying to use) has far less options and doesn\'t seem to search much at all.

As well as a load more of the \"old stuff\" being added, there\'s now a direct link to the pages.
Under the \"modules\" heading over on the left of the screen, you\'ll see a module called \"Original Site\". Just click on there and it\'ll take you direct to the pages.
