  • After some general advice

    Alright lads

Appreciate people aren't going to tell me there marks, understandably. But I want to get out a couple of times before going back to work and any general tips or suggestions would be welcome as to more sheltered areas from Cambois north to Beadnell that should be fish able in the big south easterlies we're going to get.

Not trying to just piggy back on others as I do put the work in, just haven't been up here long enough to know the general areas I should be looking at.

    Cheers
    Andy

The South side of Cullercoats harbour and the north end of Cresswell Carrs casting North (parallel with the beach) can both fish well in a South Easterly along with Blyth Pier.

    Hope this helps a little.

Aye, agreed mate. Know the Carrs pretty well and always time my exit carefully. I was thinking of it as a shot but if the seas are as big as predicted it may be too big.

I remember when I collected a rod tube from you you mentioned King Eddies as a good shot. May drive via Tynemouth today and have a look. You getting out for a session?

Also thanks Codman, appreciate it. Do you have gates to climb on Blyth or is it open?

I think the north hole at blyth would fish when sea is quite rough if you fish from ramp, your ability higher up.
