This is Berwick pier at low tide. Few worm to be had so no reason for no fish.

I haven't spent much time behind the pier if im honest Dave as I live the other side of the Tweed but thank you for that. Had a PM from another member saying he is digging for worm behing the pier today so must be a few about. When I was young there used to be loads on Spittal beach plus Razor etc. All seem to have disappeared from that area now.

I will be giving the pier a shot one night next week. Nice and easy for a night time lone outing

To be honest berwick pier isnt a gd mark had odd fish when the conditions have been perfect but waste of time fishing it really

Thanks for that fillet. I was thinking about fishing it off the back (North) side and with the wind blowing like it is its going to be a big swell. Have you fished it much?

Do you know of any good marks around here?

I will try the rocks as Dave suggested and maybe a few trips to Scremeston beach in coming week
