Local marks? Info urgently needed.

Hi all, have just moved to Hartlepool from the South West. Devon/Cornwall.

Although my better half is from this neck of the woods she dosn't know any good fishing spots.

I prefer rock marks having been used to fishing from ledges etc but any info on marks would be greatly appreciated. Getting serious withdrawal symptons as I type.

in hartlepool we have so many different marks from piers, beaches and rocks.

all fish at different times of the year in different conditions and for different species. to try and go throught them all would take forever.

better to look at a mark you fancy then ask how it will fish. how it may fish at the moment might be totally different to how it will fish in a few months.

Also, if you're mobile and up fpr fishing away from Hartlepool check out the Bing maps with fishing marks - search on Phil Itofish in the members list and look at his signatures. I found it invaluable when I started up fishing again after 20 years away - lets you research a mark and then ask for some mor etargeted help/advice from the lads on here.

best i could give is join a fishing club or two near you you will then find out were the fish are and locations and theres always a bit chat at wiegh ins with other anglers
