fished sweethope weds afternoon. had 12 mate had 10. loads of fish caught by other anglers. olive scud did the biz but had small size 14 red zulu on dropper. 3 fish on it. rob the manager tells me the fish are switching on to the smaller stuff as it gets warmer! [ we froze to death but it was worth it]
also he asked me to point out he had to ask 2 anglers to leave as they repeatedly waded into the smaller lake were wading is not allowed. wading is only allowed on the big lake.[theres always someone who spoils it for others, his words not mine]. the small lake is stuffed with fish, especially blues, and while i was there he stocked with some double figure browns which if caught must be returned.
