14 April Another cracking week at South Linden Fishery this past week with many full bags caught and released on the fly lake.
A. Ferguson of Wallsend caught and released 12 on a 8 hour ticket, while B. King of Gateshead caught a total of 14 with the best fish at 12 pounds and 8 lbs.on divine dancer, and charger.
G. Maddison Bedlington caught and released 8 in a 4 hour session, and E. Simpson caught and relesaed 9 on Black and Green Fritz.
Fly Box black buzzer, diawl back, orange dancer, white zonker, cats whisker , ptn
The well stocked bait lake has also fished well this past week with many Rainbows being brought to the net on worms and maggots.
South linden is sponsering a Game Anglers North East Region event this weekend from 10 to 4 pm, with the lakes being open to the public for 4 - dusk for fishing .

South Linden has had a excellent week with many double figure Rainbows being caught, The Bigger fish have been hooked, but have yet avoided comming to the nets. The fly lake is well stocked with many double figure Rainbows.

D. Maddison of Bedlington Caught and released 7 on Black Buzzer.
G. Lumsden of Amble caught and released 5 with his best fish at 11 pounds on yellow Dancer and Buzzer.
T. Lannon of Bedlington caught and released 6 including another 11 pound plus on Catswhisker.
J. Kelly of Amble caught and released 5 with best of 7 pounds.
Many fish in the 4 to 9 pounds were caught.

The well stocked Bait lake was quiet early in the week, The cold winds kept people away. With things picking up toward the end of the week, most caught their full bags, of fish in the 2 - 3 pound weights.
Remember the GAIA event (Game Angling Instructors assn.) on 20-21 April all welcome 16 and under free when accompanied by paying adult. Cost £10 one day £15 for both days fee will include some instruction by GAIA Instructors. there will be no public fishing That weekend. Teas, Coffees and BBQ lunch will be available for a small fee.
