Well finger's crossed and this weather holds.
I've had to change 2 dates June and July. This was was do the tide times and it being iffy for a boat to get through the lock gates if there where running late.

Registration point – small gate opposite fatso’s sandwich shop in the marina car park
There will be3 charter boats available that will let anglers fish the competitions from.

For Trailer boat owners willing to travel I have arranged for you to use the marina slipway for a small fee of £10.00 per boat. If you prefer you can leave your boat on the water for £1.95 per mtr and stay 2 nights for the price of 1 and the £10.00 slipway fee will be deducted off your berthing fee. Boat Competition Rules: All anglers willing to take part must register before the competition starts at registration point specified. The latest registration time is 20 minutes before the start time. You may go just off the end of Middleton pier to save any congestion in the harbour or leave the marina at start time. I will be announcing the start of the competition on channel 8 on VHF radio.
The latest for weigh in being 1 1/2hrs from finish of fishing time. Weigh in at marina registration point. All winning fish to be gutted after the weigh in. There are no limits on distances boats can travel.
Entrance fee and pay out: The entry fee per angler is £10.00 payable at registration prior to the start. 1st prize will be 45% (of entrants’ fees) 2nd prize will be 27.5%. 3rd prize will be 17.5%. Total pay out 90%. The remaining 10% will be giving in donation to the RNLI. Hopefully going to try and hold some raffles as well which all proceeds will be donated to the RNLI. If anyone would like to donate a prize please feel free to do so and bring the item on the day. Every person on the boat must enter all in or all out (except all charter boats). The first date of every month is the primary date the second date is a backup should neither of these happen no competitions that month. These competitions will run from May till September all competitions will be on a Saturday.
