Me , my dad and young Cameron fished the little Derek flounder comp at the white wall on the river wear today from 10.30 til 2.30
1st cast and all of us had fish 27cm being the biggest for me dad which seemed to be winning for a couple of hours all caught on crab
It went abit slow when a seal was swimming around for an hour
As the tide pushed in the fish started to show I got 1 more flounder and a small codling
Then Cameron's rod started banging away , he picked up his rod and reeled in , a 27cm eelpout and a 27cm flounder put a canny bend in his rod he struggled but got them up the wall
Next cast a nice crab which he wanted to put back but forgetting how to pick them up he put it on his palm like a pet only for it to lock on his finger poor bugger but he said it didn't hurt lol
Baited up for him and he was in again a 26 cm coalie and another new species for him,
When the comp finished and figures checked Cameron won the junior section with his 4 fish and picking up a nice £8 winnings and most of all beating his dad and grandad

Welldone to the best fisherman in the Charlesworth family
Ps he was the only junior in it but nobody cares about that lol and he knows now how to peel live peeler crab that was his job today lol
