wondering how to spend it...i have thigh waders...should i get a pair of vass pvc chest waders or neoprene waders (rt/bison) or should i get another slosh(already have slosh/525mag) ...are chest waders the way forward? do they keep they feet warm ? coz my thighh waders dont keep my toes warm...

wader considerations

neoprenes are the way forward mate :) got some greys ones. cant fault them. keep you nice and toasty they do :)

I have a set of snowbee granite studded, and I'm well happy with them !
Well made, & comfy. Have never leaked unlike some very expensive Hardy EWS, which have weeped intermitently since new !
Couple of things to consider: Do you need them for All year use ?
Neoprenes in summer... you melt, walking to venues in warm November days we had.... I melted...?
Try them on, before you buy;). I got mine off the Net for £79.00p.
Makesure you can get on a good pair of socks/ liners, as the boot is the coldest bit.
I always wear a pair of Ronhill Tracksters with them, (Like a light tracky bottom.), which is enough to keep me well warm,( -5@ Runswick last year ?).
They also, because they have a strap at the bottom , don't ride up when you put on the waders, and make taking off the waders simple, ( Just ask any one who has worn Neoprene waders, with nothing on underneath, especially if you have got a bit hot, just how easy they aren't to get off,:eek:

Peeling grapes springs to mind :D

Hope that helps ?
mel...
