It came right down to the wire today in the final match fished at Newton, and Garry Appleton managed to grab the overall win with a great bag of 6 fish for 19lb 15oz, beating Steve Williams who managed to add only 5lb 14oz to his total. The heaviest fish overall was also caught today by Steven Eyre, a nice specimen of 8lb 10oz taken at the Grey Mare rocks.
