Whitley Bay Evening Comp Registration.

I was talking to Tim today in Frazer's at Whitley Bay and he asked me if I would mention this.

If you are fishing the Whitley Bay evening comp on Saturday you must register at the Whitley Bay angling society clubhouse between 16:00 and 17:30. No tackle shops are selling tickets for this comp.

The clubhouse is located behind the pitch and put shop on the link's just before you get to the turn off for Whitley Bay lighthouse.

I think there will be alot of people unable to get tickets due to the shops not selling them. Seems very silly of the fishing club I for one work till five on a Sat.

7th Oct Whitley Bay Evening Open 1st prize £300 + Greys rod, bounds Blyth West Pier to Ice House North Shields. Reg Whitley Bay AC, (mini golf Whitley Bay links) 4to 5.30pm fish 6 to 11.30pm. Entry £10 incl h/f & s/pool Jnrs £3. Detials Mick 0191 2625266

Noticed that myself Gav,a few lads at work fancied fishing it,there first ever comp btw,they have now decided not to fish it,plus one of the lads needs the car off his wife who does'nt finish work until 17.00 !

I was told today that they have no one to go around the tackle shops to pick the entry forms up Nigel mate. Pity, I think they would have had a lot more entries.
