We had a total of 224 angler attendances over the course of the year, yielding a prize-pot of £448.00 to be split 50/50 between the heaviest bags and each angler's best fish for the year also going forward for a prize - the £448.00 total means there is a total of six prizes in each category. So the top six listed above will each receive a prize along with the six listed below with their best fish of 2022 (top 6 bag prizes same as best fish):
1st - David Airey - 6lb 6oz (winning £78.40)
2nd - Norman Douglas - 5lb 9oz (£44.80)
3rd - Brad Hill - 5lb 0oz (£33.60)
4th - Paul Brown - 4lb 4oz (£26.88)
5th - Gary Wilson - 4lb 0oz (£22.40)
6th - Don Nicholson - 3lb 9oz (£17.92)
Well done everyone, it was a pretty hard year again with mostly small fish about - let's hope for better in 2023! First match of the new year is on 6th of January - don't forget subs of £10 are due at your first match...in the meantime I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year, see you then!
Cheers, Gary
