No, mine's the exact same model.When I say I find it tough to load I don't mean tough to bend - I think I could better describe it as tough to time properly.Basically I find my other rods a little more predictable, but I admit that's entirely my fault.The rod certainly delivers very well, when I manage to bring everything together properly, and I thoroughly enjoy fishing it
