Headed down for a bit fresh air after work and drag out the need to go home to a teething baby :D had a wrap of blacks and a handful of crab. Half a dozen lads already there but nothing caught. First rod set up and out with a cocktail bait, got rod two set up too see the first one nodding away. Small codling on the bank. Manged a nice 36cm whiting on my next cast which took straight peeler (little git). Codling the same size was next on the bank. The houses were providing a nice bit shelter from the southerly wind so very comfortable fishing. Other lads all started to leave but managed a nice plump 39cm codling on my next chuck.... Few other bits and bobs before leaving but had 4 keepers out ad a decent whiting. Didn't see any other fish caught at all.... Can only put it down to the crab. Rivers fishing well at the moment! Got a few other photos to add but phone won't upload arghhhh!!!!

Nice one mate. Typical me being stuffed when I've got time off work, should be up and about in a couple of days. There seems to be loads of codling of that stamp in the river, good sport.

I still don't understand why Nesa won't allow me to upload more than one pic... If I try another it just overwrites the previous upload!! Haha.

canny sesh mate, I think your allowed 5 images in a post so you must be hitting the wrong button somewhere:) I just use photobucket like and you can stick as many on as you want I think.

Well done mate

Fished the Walkway for the first time on Saturday morning and found fresh yellows was doing better than the crab. Only one size which was lip-hooked so went back and three under, all on worm. One size coalie on frozen crab which went back.

Enjoyable session albeit stamp of fish not great - 5 other lads fishing but nothing size.
