Hi folks,

Looking into investing in a new pair of waders, the Ocean brand 700g chest wader caught my eye, as they look like a quality buy for under £100. Trouble is there aren't many reviews about on them. Wondered if anyone has any experience with these, are they as durable and high quality as they're made out to be? But also what is the sizing like on the wellie, do they run large or small? Im a ten and the last pair of waders that I bought (cheap no namers) ran ridiculously small.

Thanks for your help guys, any advice would be great!

very good choice m8 , the studded sole ones are on ebay , brand new for £ 70 to £80 , I have had 2 pair over the years and have been well pleased with them , the boots i'd say buy a size larger for extra socks .... I also heard the ocean brand is now no more , so buying a pair while you still can is advisable.
 
Cheers marco, just needed a heads up about on the quality will probably go after a pair now! any other reputable brands you know? in case something didn't work out with these.

me father just bought a pair and the nova deluxe ones are ace , m8 .... the cheaper ones are 500g but half the price again .... I wont recommend anything I have not tried and tested tbh . loads on ebay ..... :thumbup:

the new kid on the block is VASS -- HERE https://www.veals.co.uk/acatalog/vass-740-supanova-chest-high-waders-cleated-1898.html also worth a punt .... id stay away from the embossed knees model though .... looks wafer thin

Vass rainwear are the makers of ocean waders they've just changed the name thats all.
