Longbenton & Seaton Burn held a Thursday league match today (12/1) on Tynemouth Pier and from the off at 9am the fishing was fast and furious for all anglers. Many whiting + dabs + coalies being taken on all baits for the first 2 1/2 hours down to bottom water with a very good number being on size. As match official I was knackered with all the measuring & weighing and recording but will not compalin as it is great to see all the anglers catching fish and weighing in. There will be many days ahead when bugger all will get caught so make the most of the good times. The fishing dropped right off after an hour or so into the flood.
