After 3 3hr periods over last two weeks fishing Blyth, whitley beaches without even a bite. Mate and I decided to go to Tynemouth Beach. Fished 3 hrs of the flood in middle of beach. Fish caught one codling 2.5 lb and two flatties. guy next to us caught two codling. Bait used runnydown, crab, rag. Nothing big but just chuffed to have had a bite at last. a pleasant night.
