The future of Scotland\'s marine environment

Hiya,
I\'ve just copied this from another forum.. any help on this one would be greatly appreciated. :)

I have just recieved an open letter from the Scottish environment Link agency regarding a consultation to improve The future of Scotland\'s marine environment

Below are the invited parties
British Association of Nature Conservationists
Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust
Marine Conservation Society
National Trust for Scotland RSPB Scotland
Scottish Wildlife Trust
WWF Scotland
Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society

Sadly there is no mention of Sea angling in the early documentation We all moan and gripe about the state of our seas but perhaps here is a genuine chance to do something about it.


Could all posters please send Jessica Pepper the LINK parliamentary officer with emails at [email protected] suggesting that sea anglers must be represented at the talks and invite anybody you fish with to do the same.

I would welcome ideas from any of you with ideas to get sea angling represented.
 
It\'s worth reading the document. There are some amazing (and worrying) facts about the coastline, not least the fact that escapee farmed salmon now outnumber wild fish by 1000 to 1
