Well with me back to work on Monday I managed to get another three trips in this week.
Fish every time and some nicer ones starting to show. The wrecks are still not firing, the ones I visited anyway! The ground is more than making up for it and the size has improved as this week has went on. Lures seem to be working best with orange shads or twin tails taking a lot of my fish.
I nipped off for an hour this afternoon to show two lads my boat as they are considering ordering one and we had a few fish very local. This included two wrasse, summer must be coming, mackerel next.
Back in two weeks time and straight into it with a trip to the Shetlands also next time home, can’t wait!
Hopefully the wrecks have switched on by the time I get back.
I had a go with my new reel today to try and get the tackle lighter again. It was great and light as a feather bouncing lures.
