Arrived at 4.30pm with high water being around 9.15pm. Very slow start, infact we were off to a flying stop! As it hit high water and we had lost all daylight the fish started feeding.

They continued feeding well until we left (1.30am). I ended up with 3 flatties, 2 whiting, a bass and 4 coalies. All of the fish were of a decent stamp (the bass was undersize) and were returned.

Top bait was a cocktail of rag with lug or crab.

Very good nights fishing, but getting back in at 4am and then up at 8am for work isn't a good idea - I need to live closer to the coast!

I know what you mean Mike I just went back to work tonight after two nights out and was absolutely knackered tonight. Never mind I will probably be back out tomorrow night.
Got your PM and will be back in touch to sort something out mate.

Jim.

Still nice and close to the sea then! The casting is coming along fine mate - I can put it out a decent distance but the thing that has improved is my consistancy, especially direction.
