Out last night from 8:00pm 'til 3:30am thismorning.
Started off on Shields big beach (Trow Rocks)
Went onto Shields pier - fished the harbour side (just up from the Brigade Hut) Then went up to the 44 - Ian had a couple of shots from the end of the pier. Finished off at the rail end.
All in all - it was like Dracula on a diet.......not a bite alll night !!
Hilight of the night was meeting up with Rob and Davey Adair near the Rail End.
Sorry.......I tell a lie.....just remembered.......I did catch something:-
Personal best Hagfish - must've been about 18" long

We didn't do much better Tony, apart from that 1st cast "Mc" whiting (my PB whiting) we had another 11, all about 5" long
On the bright side, I didn't get slimed and our kid only got slimed once. Roll on next Friday
