new pb cod tonight from king eddys and my first fish for weeks---just over 7lb i think--only got kitchen scales and they only go upto 7lb and they bottomed out------anyway im happy to take 7 lb--first fish on new rod to.there on my own (appart from a big rat ) and had hell of a job gettin fish up and over the fence.lug -tescos finest fresh muscle and runny down did the trick--------must off told wor lass about it 3 times since i got in------she thinks im mad ------come on you double-------cheers-----peter

Nice one Peter, well done mate. Drove past there yesterday at dinner time and the sea was well up. Couple of places looked good.

yes it was from the oxfauld----when i getted it its stomach was stuffed full of one fish(rockling i think) bent in half----wen i opened it out it was half the length of the cod

Funny thing though - my mate Billy (Billys Fishing Tackle) said recently that the Oxfauld ws overdue producing a decent fish!
