I've fished here on friday and yesterday with a mate. On friday we started on cambois beach and landed 2 flatties, best around 1lb, then we tried cambois pier for a bit of fun and caught loads of colies, whiteing, codling and a few dab (all around 2-6 oz) All returned.
Yesterday we tried the rocks at cambois, i caught a red cod of 2 1/2lb (todays dinner) and loads of small coalies etc all returned.
Not a bad few days fishing.

Hi orinoco, try the beach again with a good sea running, and dont cast to far. Where on the rocks were you fishing were you fishing into cambois hole.

Saw a couple of guys fishing this area when the really low tides were on,saw one pull at least two fish out.

I was fishing from whale rock into cambois hole. I'll try the beach again. I hope to get out again this weekend.
