Fished from 17.00 to 19.00 in front of the Lifeguard Tower then moved north towards the Bandstand, struggled to hold ground in difficult conditions tried a few different sinkers gave up in the end.The north end looked ok but I'd had enough !
2 x codling 1 @ 1 3/4lb and 1 @ 2 1/2 lb both returned.
Rag,squid and mussel cocktail.

I fished Whitby Pier last weekend with a big sea on. Everyone else was struggling to hold bottom but I found a 7oz gemini with the fixed wires worked perfectly. Carry a couple in my box now.
