Snobby Sea Angler Mag

Tried it b4 Sless, get a message that the board has reached its limit of members. Just tried it there and got the same message.

Looked at its links and they\'ve still got our old link (sea-angler one) so you can\'t get on there. Is that their fault or ours?

The problem is that if your narf of Walford you can\'t get access, it won\'t let you on. If your sarf then its OK, you\'ll probably get free subscription thrown in.

A bit strange though for the UK\'s largest sea angling magazine (allegedly) to have so few a member slots on its web forum.

Maybe they just haven\'t paid their bills

I\'ve always thought their site is half baked an done on the cheap.

they don\'t even have their own domain name, just a subdomain of 8m.com, and 8m, as isps go are pants.

their forum is a bit of shareware. The idea being that its free until you get a certain number of users then its locked until they pay for it, so the thread about deleting inactive accounts is probably bollocks. with shareware stuff like this you don\'t get full admin access until they pay for the product.

maybe I should sell em a new hosting deal!

Just to give you an update....I got in touch with a fella called Cliff brown at Sea Angler. He couldn\'t have been more helpful. Gave me Mike Dobsons email address. I\'ve just received 4 cracking photo\'s from Mike free of charge, with a note that the rest are being held back for a possible feature in the future and that if they are, he will send me them.

Couldn\'t have asked for more from Mike Dobson, fantastic fella.

Sless,

Found this hat on Whitley Bay beach, is it yours? ;)
