I fished with Mr Pye...same rod same reel same line same bait same location, different result, I weighed two in he weighs thirteen in...I thought I could chuck a decent lead...well not compared to him..credit where credit is due, a thourgh Ass kicking...closest it got was at 3-1..well done Gary

Unlucky Ian mate but Gary 's casting is awesome compared to most which can make a massive difference to results

I got told you forgot to tie ya hooks on mate 😄😄

A big hand to those 27 hardy souls who braved it. Up until yesterday morning this fair weather fisherman was going to join you but then the wind and the persistent showers made me opt for my armchair and a bottle of red instead.

I've fished next to Gary down Horden and felt the same. I was a fairly consistent 220 yard man in my casting days but compared to him I might as well have just been lobbing the bait out :red: (he had a very nice Thornback that day as well)
