Rough ground rod

New to fishing rough ground so what's a ideal rod for it. Would a t900 be suitable .

Save yourself a lot of money, buy a Ron Thompson Axcellerator. Best rough ground rod you can get.

As Tony says, get an ax, I’ve got 2 and they are perfect for heavy ground.

iv got a mint t900 for swap for an afaw rod if intrested in box

I can recommend the kwr300 mate, handle any ground and is a great casting rod with decent bite detection, I got mine ten years ago when the mk2's first came out and wouldn't use anything else, quite expensive but you should be able to pick a good second hander up for £200 or even less. Quality!
