I had the pleasure of fishing the Clyde back in the 70's, now it's barren. 
Lets hope someone takes notice, and anglers take time to show their support.
There is already a NTZ (No Take Zone) in Lamlash Bay, Arran.
This has been in operation since 2008 and is reportedly showing increased numbers of Cod and Haddock which can only be a good thing.
