Had a couple of hours over the hard ground this morning off Whitley, but only got 1 small codling which went stright back, and another bite. Tide was pulling hard, tried a couple of moves, then came back in for me dinner. Best bite of the day.

I am sitting hre now toying with the idea of either going fishing at the weekend or working overtime and it is not as cut and dry as you would think based on the poor reports.

Bet it was a great day at sea thou with that sun beating down and light wind if any.

Cant win them all Arthur, gives us a chance to catch up with you . It was hot today at work, so it must have been great out on the boat..

It was nice out there, but at anchor, the back of the boat was facing north, and there were a few white caps from the westerly breeze at times but, hey, it's still only march. Back on land, not a breath so had a barby with the grandbairns at 4pm, first of many this year, bet that got a few noses twitching.
