Managed to secure a Brand new beach rod from Greys today, courtesy of Mick watson at get hooked on fishing. Unsure of which model to be exact but a brand new rod to add to the fundraiser is more than welcome.

I would give some of my time for a good cause, just moved to Bedlington from York, might also give me a chance to meet some the names on this forum. Count me in.

A very noble gesture mate thank you. The date is set for Oct 9th, times TBA. Unfortunately the place i was hoping on using for a weigh in and register venue has come up with all kinds of insurance clauses to stop us from using it. Albeit with a lot of help and backing from a very active board member, (cheers anyway mate, ya tried) I hope to be announcing a new venue for said matters within the next week, as i need to get the posters/tickets set to print very soon.

Already tried it mate a couple of months ago, knocked me back on "insurance/liability" technicality's PaulGH done his best to secure it but they wouldn't be on unfortunately.
