Two of us fished Port Carlisle 2 up 3 down today. Weather was much better than anticipated, wind much lighter than forcast, reasonably warm and no rain.
We fished two rods each and after a slow start the flounders started coming in steadily from around an hour before high water. Although not quite as good as my session on good friday both me and George had over 30 flounders each, a variety of sizes from around 15cms to 38 cms. Lots of double shots. Again the essential bait was macky or bluey either on its own or in combo with rag or crab.
A very enjoyable few hours with the light gear, over 60 fish between us so decent sport.
Plenty bait left so might try somewhere later tonight or early in the morning.
