Well done to all competitors. There will be a feature in the near future in Total Sea Fishing produced by Alan Charlton.

i personally thought turbot were a summer fish do you get them all year round or not ?

because that was one of my goals to achieve this year to catch a new species off the shore i havent done that yet and the season is drawing close now would it be worth trying warkworth beach for the turbots at this time of year as i thought they were easyer to catch in the summer. i mean i bet it is hard at any time of the year to catch a turbot

i have heard macky is the best bait

i have cauht them evry year i have being going to ireland for the last 4 year and never failed (on the boat) on macky strip but is it different in our waters?

INSANOJACKSON: Whenever there is a post put on about our competitions there is generally nothing but positive comments put on from fellow anglers who enjoy the use of this site as anglers and not what they do for a living, however all you seem to want to do recently when it comes to your own profession is to slag us off by calling stupid dickhead names. Grow up.

Well said Stevie, gettin a bit ov a pain now. Insanio, dont give a **** if you are in the job, I dont stand for that kind ov **** out on the streets, so I dont expect it from this site, which Foz has rightly said, is for lads who are Anglers and who dont care what they catch, its about getting out, having good crack and getting away from the **** you seem to be good at giving out. Grow up and change yer job if you are that bitter and twisted.
You can always PM me if you want, and we can meet up and talk about your problems if you want..........!!!!!!!
Aye codonly, what can I say, I was robbed, if I could have found one size fish at Blyth, my name was in lights lol lol...anyway heard you had a canny session the other night, one little tip, when you hook into a fish try and get it out of the water, it helps in comps lol ,lol..ps wheres me fish bag, not that you need it lol :p

I think, considering the conditions of probably flat seas, in daylight hours off a beach, the results aren't bad........don't suppose you know who was in the Met C team do you?

Aye Mick considering the conditions, the catch was good, some lovely Turbet, first time ive seen one.. The Met C team was as follows; Andy Pocknall, Nick Brennan, Angus Mcdonald and Ken Sheehan. hope this helps

aye ratty, gettin them out is a problem at times,i here you were using conservation hooks in your match on the chemical beach the other day, unlike the bloke next to you who pulled a bass in.haha.
just spoke to sless regarding the fish bag i'll get it by monday 4 u

And heres me thinkin Flatheed wouldnt mention it to ya ha ha. cheers mate, some big comps comin up, I mite need it lol

Cheers for that mate.....I assume the Met A and B team were useless..........Do you know if Chris Dent fished for them?

anybody got any little snippets for my article you could e emial or pm me with them, you drop your mate in it time. have to say eventually got some canny shots of some nice turbot, should be able to post them in result section once tsf have done the article. Hope i didnt bite anybodys head off who posts on here for putting your fish back before getting them photographed, sorry if i did and I hope the dog didnt pee on your box or nick your mackerel, he wouldnt do anything like that.

Alan, Image how frustrated we were at not catching fish never mind photographing them...lol....nice to meet you in any case and hope your pooch wasnt too sick from all the Mackerel. Look forward to reading the article.

In addition to Geoff McIntyre's individual win, he was part of the 2nd place team and then won 1st Prize in the raffle to top it off. At least he was suitably embarrassed when he came up to collect his prize. I think he was well chuffed.

Mick, Chris Dent wasn't fishing but I know he has fished in the teams in the past.

Gave some of the southern boys a lesson for once though :p but no doubt they'll be out for revenge next year back on home turf.

Oh well i was having a laugh and i am sure that came across in my post. If you dont think its funny then i apologise. If i wanted to post something deliberately nasty i am sure i could do a lot lot better.

I was thinking about joining the police sea fishing section after reading RH SEAA but if nobody can take a blatant joke i might not bother. Taking the mick is part of me and it alwayswil be. I was not nast about it but if it was too strong for you i understand

carnt understand ,grown men getting narked over a few fish, handbags away please, its all the results thats shows who,s the winners

easy answer if you think something might get misinterpreted or youve had an adverse reaction previously, common sense would seem to show that you should not bother! 'in house' humour should remain 'in house'. i know the lads insano and i know that you would be welcome anytime, despite what you may think. if you reckon you could do better in these matches then i'm sure i would give you a run for your money? up for it? lets see at blyth end of the month!;)
