Well after a travel down to Bradford for 60 blacks and over a hundred peeler for £50 quid yeah I thought to good to be true but I got them.
I set my sights on landing a few fish last night fishing 3 hours before low water and 3 after. After another bit of a drive from Durham to my fishing spot I then realised my worst nightmare :mad2: no bloody waders sitting in the car with a pair of trainers on I then rang the missus to explain my misfortune and to my surprise she said I will drop them off for you
considering I was 1 and a half hours from home I arranged to meet her half way happy days. Well after all of this I managed to get back to my fishing spot for about 30 mins befor low water.
By the end of the night had loads of good bites and 3 fish biggest been 5lb. I was a little bit gutted because I caught a small codling which I intended to put back but it had swallowed the hook and I had a struggle getting it out. It Also had a really hard stomach only to find another corroded hook. The biggest two fish once i had took the guts out were full of crab and small fish.
