I got given a mark where the trawlers used to get a lot of turbot so i headed out 15 mile s.e of amble fishing in 230 ft of water no turbot not even a flattie but dozens and dozens of whiting oh well if you dont try you wont catch onwards n upwards tight lines

not bad as long as the whitings were weighing in at 3pounders
