With it being a late tide 2day me n daz set off from the marina at 8am headed straight to newbiggin a couple small boats and yakers and two charter boats already there we were into fish straight away and it didnt stop all day the water was lovely n clean our drifts were axcellent 40 50 60 minute drifts covering all the groind strangely the bigger fish were closer in 3 4 and 5lbers lots of em even this beauty that daz got a tad over 12lb when we gutted it and weighed it in at the marina it was still over 10lb close up it looked a lot bigger i suppose its the time of year and it hasnt fattened up as we headed home we stopped at a mark next to camboise and hit into some lovely fish my best being just under 6lb we also got one pout a brittle star and 5 mackerel all in all it was a mint day tight lines
